Support Everyone Learning to Read, Write and do Math!
This is an Adult Team Spelling Bee. You will compete for bragging rights to be the best spellers in Horry County, SC! All this and supporting literacy in Horry County SC! The Team that wins first place wins a large trophy to display for the year and will return the trophy to award the next year's winner (could be you). There will be appetizers and a cash bar: raffles, 50/50, and a Silent Auction. The spellers are sure to bring a lot of laughter! Enjoy watching your friends and family spell words they learned in Elementary, Middle, and High School...maybe the winners will be able to spell even more difficult words...
- Teams of up to 4 members will play for an entrance fee of $250.
- The cover charge (a great date night) will be $10/person.
- No help from the audience is allowed.
- Trophy - Your Team name and members' names are engraved on a plaque attached to the trophy. When you win, you have the trophy to display for the year until someone else wins! Of course, this could be you!
- There will be a cash bar, appetizers, raffles, 50/50, a silent auction
- Guaranteed lots of laughter!
